Warner Premiere and Dolphin Entertainment today announced casting for their forthcoming multi-platform teen action series Aim High.  Jackson Rathbone, best known for his role as the scarred vampire “Jasper Hale” in the Twilight movie series, stars as teenage government operative “Nick Green.”   He is joined by Aimee Teegarden, known to loyal Friday Night Lights fans as “Julie Taylor,” who stars as Nick’s charming love interest “Amanda Miles.”

"We’re thrilled to have Jackson and Aimee on board,” said Producer McG. “They're incredibly talented, collaborative individuals with undeniable screen presence.”

Aim High is the story of a young man leading a double life - juggling his studies by day and serving as a government agent by night. This series chronicles the life of Nick Green, a junior who’s just starting a new school year as one of the country’s 64 highly trained teenage operatives.
When he’s not handling international spies, Nick is dreaming of Amanda Miles, the most popular girl in school who’s cool, intelligent and very alluring.  Amanda mercilessly flirts with Nick, but before he can enjoy her advances he has to avoid Derek - her overly protective boyfriend who threatens him for even looking at her.

Justin Bieber delighted fans at his book signing in New York City on Friday (Nov 26) after he agreed to extend the event and meet an extra 1,000 devotees who had queued in the rain to see him.

The Baby hitmaker was due to autograph copies of his book, First Step 2 Forever, for 1,000 fans at a Barnes & Noble store in Manhattan, but an estimated 2,000 youngsters descended on the store.

Justin was late for the signing after his car was caught in a traffic jam, but he promised to make up the time by staying late.

The 16 year old kept his word - and he even decided to double the number of fans he would greet, letting in an extra 1,000 fans before ending the event.

In a series of posts on Twitter.com during the event, he wrote, "Sorry we are late... My fans are the most loyal passionate people ever. Super grateful. thank u... We got a lot more people to see... I'm not leaving until I keep my promise. Thanks for everyone being so cool about (this)." Later, he added, "Finished the signing in the NYC. Had to show love. We let 1,000 more people in. Love y'all. wish I could let the whole world in."

Justin Bieber Stops New York Traffic With TV Appearance

Hundreds of frenzied Justin Bieber fans battled through the rain in New York on Friday morning (Nov 25), blocking city streets for a chance to meet the singer ahead of a U.S. TV appearance.

Traffic in the Big Apple was brought to a standstill as thousands of fans crowded the streets around Rockefeller Plaza in wet conditions in anticipation of the 16-year-old's appearance on the Today Show.

Beiber was shown walking between barricades signing autographs and greeting screaming teens as he made his way to the TV studio, where he talked about his burgeoning music career.

And the singer is grateful for his fans' dedication after learning they queued for hours on the day after Thanksgiving to secure prime spots outside the glass studio, where they could see the singer chatting with a talk show host, who admitted he'd caused "quite a scene".
Bieber replied with a humble "Thank you".
