iCarly's Jerry Trainor Stars in Nicktoon T.U.F.F. Puppy Coming in Fall 2010

Jerry Trainor, best known as the hilarious big brother and guardian to Carly Shay in Nickelodeon’s number one live-action hit series iCarly, brings his comedic talents to the network’s newest animated series T.U.F.F. Puppy, bowing this fall on Nickelodeon, the largest producer of television animation in the world.  The 13-episode, 2D series is created and executive produced by Nickelodeon hit-maker Butch Hartman, creator of the Emmy Award-winning The Fairly OddParents and Danny Phantom.  Hartman’s latest animated adventure features a theme song performed by Adam Schlesinger from Fountains of Wayne (“Stacy’s Mom”), and is produced at the Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank, Calif.
“Jerry is a natural fit for animation,” said Brown Johnson, President, Animation, Nickelodeon and MTVN Kids and Family Group.  “His energy and comedic timing – coupled with Butch’s brand of humor – bring Dudley and the series to life.  Casting Jerry is a home run.”

T.U.F.F. Puppy follows a gung-ho, dim-witted dog named Dudley Puppy who finds himself accidentally thrust into the role of secret agent when he’s recruited by the super-secret, crime-fighting organization, T.U.F.F. (Turbo Undercover Fighting Force).  He partners with Kitty Katswell, a feline superspy who is an amazing kung-fu and weapons expert.  Naturally, they don’t get along, but together they protect their hometown of Petropolis and the rest of the world against the evil animal organization, D.O.O.M. (Diabolical Order of Mayhem).

Trainor is known to many as Spencer Shay, an off-centered aspiring artist and brother and guardian of his teenaged sister Carly on Nickelodeon’s mega-hit television series iCarly.  Trainor’s portrayal of Spencer garnered the actor his first Teen Choice nomination for Choice TV Actor: Comedy in 2009.  Prior to his role on iCarly, he was cast as the reoccurring character Crazy Steve on Drake & Josh.  Trainor will soon play Quincy, a thirty-something bachelor who dedicates his life to being the best cyber multi-player athlete online, in the upcoming Nickelodeon Original TV movie Best Player.

Hey guys, by now I'm sure most of you know that my voice is gone and that I had to cancel some of my upcoming shows. After my 2 week promo tour with Joey I started to feel pain in my throat from talking too much. As soon as I came home I went to see my doctor and he said that I had damaged my vocal chords and that I had acid reflex (probably from pickles). He put me on medication and wanted to see me in a few days. When I went back my voice had gotten much worse. He then told me that I had to cancel my shows and be on vocal rest for a week. I felt so horrible that I couldn't perform. I begged the doctor to give me more medication to last me through these shows, he said if I went I could lose my voice completely and have permanent damage. I had to give up and agree to not go but I WILL make it up. We are doing the best we can to reschedule all of the shows and I will do a 2 hour meet and greet in each city that I missed when I come back into town. We are also trying to see who was planning on coming to the shows so we can give you all tickets to the rescheduled shows. I am SO sorry about all of this and really hope I can see you all when I'm better.

The show in Columbus, OH has already been rescheduled for November 6th.

The shows that have been cancelled are:

Delaware State Fair 7/28/10
Lilith Fair Tour in Holmdel, NJ 7/31 and Hartford, CT 8/01

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. :(
I love you all so much and can't wait to see you. Thank you for understanding. It means so much.

Justin Bieber Nearly Gets Trampled In Arizona

Justin Bieber is seen here hightailing it away on his Segway as he is mobbed by a group of frenzied fans in an Arizona parking lot. Justin was in Glendale, Arizona over the weekend to  perform a concert. The 16-year-old pop star was spotted by a group of girls. He tried to get away, but quickly realized he wasn't fast enough. Good sport Justin let the teenage girls surround him, before security arrived to rescue him.

Justin Bieber came out on a Segway and was riding around the Westgate marketplace in Glendale AZ, next to Jobing Arena. This was around 6:30 and his concert was to begin at 7. I could not believe he was by himself-with another friend far behind. No security. He almost got trampled.

Zac Efron:"Im Still Paying My Dues In Hollywood

Zac Efron is convinced he doesn't deserve to be the star of a huge blockb uster yet - because he's still "paying his dues" in Hollywood after shoot ing to fame in Disney's High School Musical.
The 22-year-old actor, who was previously vying for the lead in the Spi der-Man franchise, is desperate to sink his teeth into a meaty role but a dmits he has yet to earn the respect of movie fans.
He tells Movieline.com, "I have a self-awareness of what is out there: Right now, if I was looking at me from someone else's eyes - like the eye s of the guys who are going to go watch a
superhero movie - I can't say t hat I'd be 'two thumbs up' for me to star in an action movie right now. W hy would I be? "I haven't done anything to pay those dues yet, I haven't made any movi es for those fans yet. I think you have to earn the right to hold a gun. You have to earn the right to shoot web." But he's convinced newcomer Andrew Garfield, who has been cast as the new Spider-Man, is better suited for the part.
He adds, "He's coming in as an unknown. Andrew Garfield is going to be amazing in that
movie because he's got a brand-new, fresh perspective, an d to be thrown into that character so quickly, he's going to be able to r edefine that brand in a way that we've never seen before. It'll be amazing. You've sort of seen me before."

On the meantime, here's what the pop superstar had to say about her new album:
Saying the right thing at the right moment is so crucial that most of us start to hesitate, for fear of saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. But lately what I’ve begun to fear more than that is letting the moment pass without saying anything. These songs are made up of words I didn’t say when the moment was right in front of me. These songs are open letters. Each is written with a specific person in mind, telling them what I meant to tell them in person.’
