The remake of the 1980 movie musical Fame arrives in movie theaters on September 25, 2009.
Fame, which went on to become a television series and West End and Off-Broadway stage production, followed a group of talented students through their time at the New York High School of Performing Arts.
“[It will be] new songs except we are going to use the ‘Fame’ song. Not in the body of the movie probably, but we do have the rights to that…” says producer Gary Lucchesi.
